Refund & Return Policy
At Farmitra — a digital agriculture platform and product of
Aliyar Greens Private Limited — we aim to ensure complete satisfaction for every farmer,
vendor, and expert using our platform. This Refund & Return Policy outlines the conditions under which
refunds and returns are processed for agricultural products and services purchased through the Farmitra
App and website.
1. Scope of Policy
This policy applies to all purchases made on the Farmitra platform, including:
- Physical agricultural products such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and farm equipment sold by verified vendors.
- Digital services including expert consultations, AI-based crop diagnostics, subscriptions, and advisory sessions.
2. Return Policy for Agricultural Products
- Eligibility: Products are eligible for return only if they are damaged, defective, expired, or incorrect at the time of delivery.
- Return Window: Buyers must raise a return request within 7 days of product delivery by contacting customer support or through the Farmitra App order section.
- Condition: The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice or order ID).
- Inspection: Returned items will undergo a quality check by the respective vendor before approval for replacement or refund.
- Non-Returnable Items: Products such as opened seed packets, used pesticides, perishable agri-inputs, and discounted or clearance items are not eligible for return.
3. Refund Policy for Agricultural Products
- Refund Method: Once a return is approved, the refund will be issued via the original payment method (bank, UPI, or wallet) within 7–10 business days.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping or delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a vendor or product error.
- Vendor Accountability: In cases where products are sold by third-party vendors, the vendor’s individual refund terms may apply, as verified by Farmitra.
4. Refund Policy for Digital Services
- Non-Tangible Services: Fees paid for digital services (AI-based recommendations, consultations, or subscriptions) are generally non-refundable once service delivery begins.
- Exceptional Cases: Refunds may be considered only in cases of technical failure, double payment, or service non-availability due to system errors.
- Processing Time: Approved service refunds are processed within 5–7 working days from the confirmation date.
- Subscription Cancellation: Users may cancel their paid subscription before renewal. Refunds for partially used subscription periods are not available.
5. How to Request a Return or Refund
- Log in to your Farmitra account and go to “My Orders”.
- Select the item or service for which you wish to initiate a refund or return.
- Provide the reason for return along with supporting photos (for product issues).

6. Refund Exceptions
- Refunds will not be issued for user error, change of mind, or delayed crop outcomes.
- No refund will be provided for free trials, promotional offers, or discounted service plans.
- Farmitra reserves the right to refuse refund requests if misuse, fraud, or policy violation is suspected.
7. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors registered on the Farmitra platform are required to maintain transparent refund and return practices,
ensure product quality, and comply with Farmitra’s fulfillment and inspection standards. Non-compliant vendors
may be subject to penalties or removal.
8. Policy Amendments
Farmitra reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Return Policy at any time to align with business,
operational, or legal requirements. Any significant changes will be communicated through the App or via email.
